Alright, I quit with the French, my French is so bad that I don't even know what I'm saying anymore... Okay, Hello! Project has news... and I swear it ain't pretty. From what I heard from other blogs, Biyuuden (v-u-den, vuden, Bi-yu-Den, whatever suits your taste) is going to disband during this summer. Now I wished I bought their singles and albums... Actually I still can... Japantown here I come... (when I get back to SF that is.. >.>) What's funny about this is that I was talking to my friend about how UFA needs a new surprise like a new single or a new group forming... NOT a group DISBANDING! UFA YOU HEARD ME WRONG!
Well let's start with the members.
Members:
Ishikawa Rika - 石川梨華, the leader of the group. This group was formed before Rika graduated Morning Musume (in 2005) and this group became her responsibility after it was formed. She was known as the narcissist one. She has an okay voice but many people do not like it. It is assumed she will continue on in Ongaku Gatas.
Miyoshi Erika - 三好絵梨香, the oldest of the group but the position of leader was given to Rika because she has seniority in Hello! Project. Erika was a winner of a 2003 Hello! Project concert. She was put into Biyuuden along with Okada Yui and Ishikawa Rika. It is unknown what will happen to her, but was stated she will be staying in Hello! Project. I'm hoping she will become a soloist... but soloists these days do not fair well.
Okada Yui -岡田唯, the youngest of the group and a winner of the Hello! Project eggs. It was stated the group is disbanded because Yui is already 20 years old but I do not see the reason behind this logic. Maybe she'll be put into another group but we will not know. She, along with the two other members of Biyuuden will stay in Hello! Project, but we will not know what they will be pursuing in the future.

Life span as a Hello! Project group : August 2004 - June 2008. 4 years, not that bad.
Rika now has Ongaku Gatas and I think they were doing this on purpose. They needed Rika to do something until the graduated Yossy. I bet if Nono wasn't on maternity leave and Aibon was still part of Hello! Project, they would reunite the 4. However since Nono became pregnant, they had to exclude her from Ongaku Gatas, otherwise I would believe Nono would be in that group too. KonKon just happened to come back around that time so they included her into the group. Aibon, even though she's not part of Hello! Project anymore, I think if she was still in it, I don't think Ongaku Gatas would be formed, and instead, it would be a group with 4th Generation, but UFA had to think of something to do and instead made Ongaku Gatas.
Alright, enough with Rika, let's move onto Erika. I believe they want her to become a soloist or form a new group with her because her voice is strong enough for her to become a soloist or she needs to lead a new group. Erika was supposedly rumored to debut as a soloist, but instead she was put into a group with Ishikawa Rika and Okada Yui. Maybe also since she's the oldest of the group, she felt she couldn't handle Rika being the leader? Maybe not, but Erika deserves to have attention on her. UFA, do not set her aside please. =]
Okay, last we have Yui. She originally came into the Hello! Project world as an egg, but because her looks and "wanting" to promote her, they put her into a group. The two new girls were noobies and they needed someone to lead them, and Rika was going the graduate, so why not form a group with these 3 girls? And Voilà, Biyuuden is formed. UFA is probably using the excuse that Yui turned 20 to disband the group. They probably didn't want to spend anymore money on them. Afterwards, I believe Yui will join another group. She isn't really cut out to be a soloist, but she's fine in a group. She'll probably join up with ex-Morning Musume soloists to be in a new group, but who knows.
2. Best of Album : 美勇伝シングルベスト9 Vol.1おまけつき (v-u-den Single Best 9 Vol.1 Omaketsuki) - Released on November 21, 2007
Life span as a Hello! Project group : August 2004 - June 2008. 4 years, not that bad.
My speculation :
I think they're disbanding Biyuuden because their singles aren't selling as well as other groups and the "sexy" appeal isn't getting much people to buy their singles. It doesn't make sense that their reason to disband is because Yui is 20. Rika and Erika are already in their 20s, what makes the group bad to have every member in their 20s? Look and Melon Kinenbi, they're still here. They might not be active, but they're still here.Rika now has Ongaku Gatas and I think they were doing this on purpose. They needed Rika to do something until the graduated Yossy. I bet if Nono wasn't on maternity leave and Aibon was still part of Hello! Project, they would reunite the 4. I don't know if anything makes sense on what I wrote, but I don't think Biyuuden should disband... the trio together makes a great group, but under appreciated. Let's just hope the best for the 3 of them.
