おひさしぶりです～

I'm sorry I haven't been around on this blog... not that there's really anyone checking this blog out lol. I think I've decided to start using this blog again because I'm starting to listen to Momusu again. Or more specifically, Morning Musume '15. lol Ok, no this is a lie, I've been listening to them, but I want to jump back into Momusu again a little more full time... along with my current seiyuu + anime/manga obsession. I might start using my anime/manga blog...

News that's happened in H!P since I last updated this blog:

• 11th Generation joined (Oda Sakura). 
• 12th Generation joined (Ogata Haruna, Nonaka Miki, Makino Maria, Haga Akane).
• Yossy's announced her engagement?! (Which actually just happened a few days ago?!)
• Berryz Koubou is no more :(
• Ogawa Makoto has announced going back to being a "normal" person / leaving the entertainment industry.
• Several new groups have debuted? I don't remember them, sorry. I'll look them up later.
• Sayu, the last member of the original lineup that I started fangirling Momusu, has graduated.
• Fuku-hime is now Morning Musume's leader. 
• Ayaya and Mikitty are now parents.
• Yuko's a momma as well!
• S/mileage has changed their name to ANGERME

Of course there's more things but these are the things I want to point out lolol. Or at least the ones I remember at the moment.

Congrats to Yossy first for her engagement~! My first fav in Morning Musume is engaged and going to get married! I've noticed in a few recent Morning Musume OG performances she's become more and more "feminine", not that it's a bad thing, it's just weird. But she was supposed to be first promoted as the mysterious quiet beauty... until her tomboy side came out and Mr. Moonlight ~ai no big band~ happened. lol.

Two new generations, all with at least one member from the Hello!Pro Kenshuusei. Nonaka Miki speaks English, which I hope this helps with the globalization of Morning Musume. They've tried before, but has unfortunately failed. I will keep supporting Morning Musume even if they don't go abroad. Oh, which reminds me, they have started subbing the music videos on the H!P channels! So all new PVs from H!P have subs! Which is awesome.

Berryz Koubou has finally called it quits. I only know Momoko's in that new group, but I don't know what the other members are doing. I wonder if Risako will come back as a soloist sometime in the future. But I don't know what the other members will be doing. I will miss Berryz even though I didn't follow them as much as I did with Momusu & C-ute.

Well lets end this blog post for now and I will start bringing back my video / song comments on new singles / songs.

「Personal Opinion」

This is a cover of Moritaka Chisato's Kono Machi. I have to admit... H!P you have outdone your cheapest PVs... I mean I understand back in the late 90s and early 2000s where green screen was a cool effect... now it's just cheap. I would have preferred the scenes with the white background? The dresses are pretty but I stopped watching the PV because of cheapness of it? The song is nice and slow, but compared to the original the feeling is different? I suppose I don't have much opinion on this song, but do check out the song! It's a nice slow song, proves another point for ℃-ute being able to sing different genres. I heard the personal messages for ℃-ute was changed of course lol. This song is supposedly dedicated for the two year anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake, does anyone remember what they were doing when they found out about it? I was personally at a friend's house working on our Japanese project for class, when we found out we were shocked and wondered what will happen.

I won't be writing an official review until the actual MV comes out because I feel like only the official PVs deserve it. I'm just leaving this here because I actually like this song, I'm really liking this new Momusu image with the young ones. Although I don't like the auto-tune, but I suppose auto-tune is somewhat "in"? The dance is interesting too it seems, but too bad Haruka & Ayumi won't be a part of the official dance version because of their injuries. What are their injuries exactly? I never realized how tall Haruka is lol, I always thought she was small because of her H!P egg days, she was tiny then wasn't she? I see some Munasawaga Scarlet in the dance, but I am not disappointed with the new Momusu. If I remember/assume correctly this will be the last Momusu single without the 11th generation members. When will they be announced? I haven't been following who are finalists, so I'll be shocking myself. Line distribution seems to be "usual", but hey at least everyone has a line somehow. It seems they're really pushing Ayumi a lot now, but I feel like it's not as bad as Riho's pushing...? But I still don't think people should blame Riho for all this pushing she's receiving. It's not as if she asked to be pushed to this much extent. Also, Ayumi has had training before and was an official back-up dancer so I'm not surprised she's being pushed this much. Ah, this is becoming more and more like a review. ストップ!

Another (random) Kiss Me Aishiteru video

Except this time it's the Niigaki Risa & Takahashi Ai version. The two graduating from Morning Musume made me realize how much I loved their voices. And honestly these two were the "deep" voices of Morning Musume... Does that mean Morning Musume is going to be "higher" pitch than from when I first said that when they released Onna ni Sachi Are? Ah well they still have "husky voice" Kudo Haruka, but they haven't given her any lines  yet. But Risa has grown up so much from her debut days! To think, she went from being the youngest of the group to being the 7th leader of Morning Musume! I don't think Ai had much difference since her debut, but she has grown up to be a fine lady~! In my defense these two are still older than me! Sayumi's the only member left that's still older than me, and it's only a month older! I wish these two would form a duo~

Have I mentioned I love this song? It's my favorite song~ Well not necessarily, my favorite ℃-ute song that is. Still is my ringtone, although I'm thinking about changing my ringtone because I've been using Kiss Me Aishiteru for a while already lol.

This isn't going to be my official Kiss Me 愛してる post but I found this while I was looking up 恋ING videos and the guy singing in the beginning isn't bad? LoL, it was called サラリーマン (Salary man) version... until Hagiwara Mai and Okai Chisato show up in the middle disrupting his rhythm... but who cares it's MaiMai and Chisa~! lol If I assume correctly this was from a Nico Nico event? Although I do have to say I do love this song, it's currently my ring tone lol. I'll do a true Kiss Me 愛してる post later though. My laptop is somewhat dying in this heat lol. It died earlier when I was doing the 恋ING post so that took a while to post lol.

「Personal Opinion」

One of my all-time favorite Morning Musume songs, as to why? I'm not sure I just really love it. Something about the lyrics and the melody makes it really sweet. I would have to say it's about a girl in love and don't know what to do because they've fallen so much in love. I wonder if I've annoyed my roommate because I've been playing this song on repeat (different youtube versions since I'm looking for them). The song is really sung by Ai, Miki, and Eri but it's okay, it's another song like Furusato I don't mind. The original video I posted is the closest I can find with the original singers although I suppose I only really need Ai, Miki, and Eri. I know there are way more other songs I could have "reviewed" but I'm currently in a "恋ING" mood right now. My favorite though has to be the Yomiuri Land East Live version. I mean if it had to do with my favorites, of course I would've chose the Chisato, Odore Morning Curry, or the Best of Japan versions but something about the Yomiuri version sounds nice. Please enjoy the other versions of 恋ING because each has their own special points. Also, I cannot fit all the member's tags in the labels... darn 200 character maximum.

I'm not an AKB fan, and I don't know the members but I have to admit the two sang this version did it quite well. I'm only including this because I found this last time I had a 恋ING phase (before I revived this blog).

「ふるさと」 - モーニング娘。

To be honest, this blog post was going to be a Furusato post, but I might turn it into a Roman ~My Dear Boy~ or Sexy Boy ~Soyokaze ni Yorisotte~ post? I was searching up Furusato videos to add to this post, but I ended up finding other videos (because of my clear Yossi obsession still apparently existing and watched other videos with her in it. But I suppose I'll have another entry for the other two songs later and just talk about Furusato.

「Personal opinion」

Okay, personally I don't like this original version because it's Nacchi featuring Morning Musume, quite literally. I don't think the other members had a solo line in this song, but the other members do the harmony. This is worse than the other times I have said it's "Ai and Reina ft Morning Musume" (which an example I've said something like this before is Resonant Blue, but not on this blog since I haven't reviewed that song yet). Although I've actually read the lyrics and it's pretty much about a (selfish) girl in love but pretty much addressing her mother about being a selfish daughter. Or something of that sort. I think this is a good song because children often run off on their own and forget about their parents, especially mothers. On my honest opinion I'm only doing this so I can post the other versions of this song. But to be fair, I'll talk about the music video, but I haven't seen it in a LONG time. The video shows different places the members with their "mother" (to be honest I don't know if it's their actual mothers). I also realized this song is also perfect for Morning Musume since they're all "daughters"/"girls" calling out to their mothers. The video also shows baby/children pictures/videos of them. 

I think the song is a special song for Morning Musume, which I believe should be their staple song rather than Love Machine since the song shows themselves as a daughter and a girl going out on her own, leaving her parents, but still wants to return home to talk to her mother. Although the only thing I really don't like is that it's Nacchi ft. Morning Musume. Alright, onto the other Furusato versions! 

Shoot, right now I'm checking out Do it! Now, Joshi Kashi Monogatari songs out instead of looking for Furusato videos. What happened was that I searched up 5th generation member videos... but I'll write about them later... BACK TO DISPLAYING THE OTHER FURUSATO VIDEOS. These are the only ones I can find, if anyone has any other links, please feel free to share and I shall update this post.

「Personal opinion」

Alright, so for the next song I'm writing about is the first of the double A-side single, "Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo!". This song is practically 1/3 Reina, 1/3 Ai, 1/6 Riho, 1/6 Risa in terms of line distribution (give or take a couple of lines between Reina and Ai). Well this was Ai's last single with Morning Musume, and she had her own version of the single with her solo 「自信もって夢を持って飛び立つから」(Jishin motte Yume wo Motte Tobitatsu kara). I have not listened to that song yet, so when I do, it'll be another post lol. 


The dance seems lackluster because it could have been better but I suppose the newer members can't dance as well as present members could, the only ones (at this time) out of the newbies are Mizuki and Riho since Fukuchan was an egg (therefore had dancing lessons before), and Riho was known for her dancing already by this time. The clothes are shiny... did they take apart the "Onna ni Sachi Are" clothes (which were taken apart from "The Peace"). Aika also couldn't dance because of her ankle, but they did have her standing there with the members in the other parts. Oh but hey, at least they had shoes this time! Unlike in "Onna ni Sachi Are" lol. Although the whole MV seems to be filmed on a green screen, what a great budget UFA has for them /sarcasm.


The song is... I haven't searched up the translations for it yet, but really "I'm really hoping for peace in this world"? It's a fun song though at least? I'm looking at the lyrics and I'm getting confused because there's so much kanji I don't know... maybe I'll try translating the song on my own since I can't seem to find lyrics anywhere =/. If I remember correctly when the song first came out I was a little disappointed at the song because it seemed like an album song rather than a single, but I'm starting to like it a lot more now. It doesn't help I'm continuously listening to the song while I'm writing this lol. 


The MV is soooooooooooo bright and shiny... like the outfits... the non-dancing part of the MV, the 9期 members look bored/awkward during parts of it, lol. Aika can only really sit/stand there otherwise she'd probably damage her ankle more. I honestly don't know what else to say about this song anymore, lol. Just listen to it?
